From 20 to 25 May 2012 this year’s SportAccord Convention took place in Québec, Canada. The convention is the world's leading annual event at the service of sport, focused on driving positive change internationally, and dedicated to engaging rights holders, organising committees, cities, businesses and other organisations in the development of sport.

Within the City Forum of the convention the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 that takes place in Canada played a big role. Ulrich Wolter, Managing Director of DFB Consulting was among the speakers and presented how the DFB planned and delivered the tremendously successful FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011. Together with Don Hardman from the LOC FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 he gave an insight in the organisation, challenges and opportunities of a FIFA Women’s World Cup.

"The SportAccord Convention is one of the major sport conventions around the world. We are honoured that we have been invited to talk about the organisation of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011 in Germany and to share our experiences with the LOC for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 in Canada. It is a great chance for Canada to develop women’s football further and use the momentum of the World Cup in Germany", Ulrich Wolter said.
