DFB and JFA extend partnership

The deutsche Fußball-Bund (DFB) and Japanese football association (JFA) have extended their partnership for a further two years. The associations have been working together since 2011 on a variety of projects including German lead coaching courses in Japan.

In addition to this Japanese coaches have taken part in events in Germany and the various teams have held training camps in Germany. They have also shared marketing knowledge.

The renewal of the deal has also seen a couple of more topics get add to the agenda. There will now be a stronger focus on youth football and team management. An agreement is already in place for the youth sides of each country to face each other in friendlies.
