Clement Turpin to take charge of Northern Ireland clash

France’s Franzose Clement Turpin will referee Die Mannschaft’s third and final EURO 2016 group match against Northern Ireland in Paris on Tuesday (18:00 CEST). UEFA confirmed the appointment on Sunday morning.

The 34-year-old official is France’s “Referee of the Year.” His first game of the tournament came last Tuesday when Hungary beat Austria 2-0 in Bordeaux. He issues two bookings in the game, with Austria’s Aleksandar Dragovic seeing red additionally.

The other Group C game (Ukrainve vs. Poland in Marseille) will be officiated by Norway’s Sven Oddvar Moe. Scotland’s William Collum (Czech Republic vs. Turkey in Lens) and the Netherlands’ Björn Kuipers (Croatia vs. Spain in Bordeaux) are refereeing Tuesday’s remaining fixtures.
