Charging Liverpool win 2-1 at Swansea

Liverpool FC and Jürgen Klopp have won their last four league games and, for now, have claimed second place in the Premier League. The Reds recovered from a 1-0 deficit at half-time to win 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium, with 'keeper Loris Karius featuring for Liverpool.

Dutchman Leroy Fer had given the hosts a deserved lead in the first half, but Liverpool improved after the break and levelled the score shortly after the restart through former Hoffenheim player Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian international was later brought down in the area and James Milner converted from the spot to clinch a 2-1 victory for Liverpool. Germany international Emre Can was a late substitute for the visitors.

Liverpool are now on 16 points and temporarily sit in second place, two points behind Manchester City. However, both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could overtake Liverpool on Sunday.
