In the quarter finals of the Women’s Champions League, title winners Frankfurt will meet Rosengard of Sweden, while cup winners Wolfsburg will face Brescia Femminile of Italy.
Should both German sides progress, they will meet eachother in an all-German semi final based on the fact that they are in the same side of the draw. Both rounds were drawn at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
Frankfurt head coach Colin Bell is expecting a tough encounter against the team from Malmö. "We know they have a top-quality side from many different countries, especially Marta. Wolfsburg coach Ralf Kellermann is happy that "[his team] are the favourites for the competition and are on the way." Kellermann has said that he will not underestimate opponents Brescia.
The quarters will be played on 24th/25th and 30th/31st March 2016.
