Borussia Mönchengladbach beat SC Freiburg in top clash

Round 16 of the Second Bundesliga was finished on Monday with the top clash between SC Freiburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach. League leaders Mönchengladbach won 3-1 (1-0) and thus stay on top of the league through the winter break, although there is still one round to play.

On Sunday, the round was continued with five matches. VfL Osnabrück celebrated a 3:0-win against 1860 München, SpVgg Greuther Fürth lost at FC Augsburg 0-3. Hoffenheim draw against Kickers Offenbach 2-2.
