Jérôme Boateng: Yes, it was unfamiliar. We played slightly differently as well, since we had several players missing through injury, but on the whole we can be satisfied. I actually enjoyed playing in the new position. Our performance in the first half was very good.
Question: You returned to the centre of defence during the game - was that the plan all along?
Boateng: It became the plan. I was struggling a bit but overall it went fine. Javier Martinez played very well after he pushed forward a bit.
Question: Are you seriously injured?
Boateng: No, it's not serious but I did suffer a slight knock which is the reason why I was brought off.
Question: You've nearly secured the unofficial 'autumn championship' - is it too early to congratulate you on the title yet?
Boateng: Way too early. We are still in the first half of the season and are looking from game to game. This was a very important win for us and we don't have a midweek game this week. So we can be very satisfied.
Question: FC Bayern's annual general assembly on Friday revealed no new details concerning contract extensions. Are there any updates in regard to your contract?
Boateng: I've already said that I can't promise anything.
Question: When will you sign a new contract? Has the right pen not been found yet?
Boateng: I don't know that yet and apparently we haven't.

Boateng: I'm not saying that there is a catch. Like I've said before: I won't reveal anything about this. Once it happens, you will hear about it soon enough.
