Holger Badstuber’s tale of woe continues – The Germany international suffered an ankle fracture during Saturday’s final training session ahead of FC Bayern München’s game at FC Augsburg on Sunday (kick off: 17:30 CET). The centre back has already undergone surgery and will be sidelined for at least three months.
Badstuber had only recently returned from a six-month injury break in November after tearing a thigh muscle. Prior to that, he suffered damages to his ACL in 2012 and 2013, as well as a tendon rupture in 2014, all of which combined to a total absence of nearly two years.
