Arsenal maintained their chase on the Premier League’s top three sides as world champions Mesut Özil and Shkodran Mustafi helped the Gunners to a 3-1 victory against AFC Bournemouth. The result leaves Arsenal on 28 points as they sit in fourth place behind Manchester City, Liverpool and table-toppers Chelsea.
Alexis Sanchez was Arsenal’s main man, hitting the target twice for the home side whilst Theo Walcott also got his name on the scoresheet. Bournemouth had netted an equaliser through a Callum Wilson penalty but they failed to hold on.

Word Champion Sami Khedira and Serie-A leaders Juventus suffered a convincing 3-1 defeat at CFC Genoa on matchday 14. It was the third loss of the campaign for Coach Allegri Massimiliano’s side.
Giovanni Simeone’s brace inside the opening 15 minutes and an own goal from Turin’s Alex Sandro gave Genoa a comfortable lead in the first half. Miralem Pjanic grabbed a late goal for Juventus but it proved merely to be a consolation.
