The draw for the 2015 U-20 World Cup group stages was done on Tuesday in Wellington. For the tournament in New Zealand (30th May – 20th June), Frank Wormuth’s Germany have been drawn in Group F with Fiji, Uzbekistan and Honduras. The games will be played in Christchurch.
“It is clear that we are the favourites in the group but we respect all of our opponents, especially Fiji,” said Wormuth after the draw. “In any case, we’re going to get off to a good start in the tournament with this group. However, it’s not all about the group stage. We could come up against Brazil in the last sixteen and possibly face Argentina in the quarter finals.”
