On Sunday Eintracht Frankfurt won 2-1 against Eintracht Braunschweig and scored again after only a little effect in the last two matches (one point in two matches). Frankfurt made a jump on second place, only one point behind Düsseldorf. Karlsruher SC left the end of the table with a 2-1 against Erzgebirge Aue. In the third game VfL Bochum won 2-1 against Hansa Rostock. Now Rostock is bottom of the table.
Two top sides were not able to win their matches. First placed Fortuna Düsseldorf tied 1-1 at FC Ingolstadt, FC St. pauli suffered a 1-2 loss at Alemannia Aachen.

SpVgg Greuther Fürth missed the first place of the league due to 1-3 at Dynamo Dresden. FSV Frankfurt celebrated an important 2-1 win at MSV Duisburg and keep up the hope to stay in league.
